Subgroups serve to differentiate between various groups, without altering the racing schedule. Following the completion of the races, subgroups are utilized to determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners within each subgroup.
For instance, your group could comprise both boys and girls who race against each other. At the end of the race, the computer will identify the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for the boys subgroup and another 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for the girls subgroup.
